Mrs. Rhein's Kindergarten

I am enjoying my fourth year teaching Kindergarten. I previously taught at Turtle Lake Kindergarten. I have also taught 4th grade at Island Lake Elementary. I hold a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders, a license in K-12 Reading, and am working on my Masters in Literacy. What I find the most rewarding about kindergarten is seeing the rapid growth that children this age experience. I am a huge fan of children's liturature and get very excited every time I find a great new book!!

My family includes my husband Jeff, he is a Lake Johanna Firefighter and works in sales for a fire truck manufacturer-he has a lot of fun driving around big fire trucks! My daughter, Rachel is a sophmore at Mounds View High School and she loves books as much as I do and is a terrific writer. My son, Michael is a sixth grader at Chippewa Middle School. He loves hockey more than anything else in the world! So, naturally we are big hockey fans! Finally, we have two Chocolate Labs named Kody and Koko. They love to fetch tennis balls and go swimming.
